Eye exams for babies and children
A child doesn't know they see poorly: they have never seen otherwise. Our optometrists examine little ones with methods suited to their age, without needing them to read letters. A problem caught early, like amblyopia (lazy eye), corrects far better before school age.

What it includes

Frequently asked questions
My child doesn't talk yet. How can you examine them?
With objective tests: the optometrist watches how the eye responds to lights and targets, and measures the refraction with instruments that need no answer.
What signs should worry me?
An eye that drifts, frequent eye rubbing, a tilted head in front of screens, a book held too close, headaches at the end of the day, or school results dropping for no reason.
Are children's glasses sturdy?
The frames we offer children are made of flexible plastic or tough acetate, with spring hinges. Our opticians fit them so they stay put through recess.
